COOK WITH SOUL AND INTENTION. LOVE THE PEOPLE YOU ARE COOKING FOR.

 In late 2022, I had the privilege of partnering with Scoolinary and the Chefs’ Manifesto, uniting our efforts to advocate for good food for all. Our collaboration yielded eight unique cooking courses, each centered around a specific thematic area outlined by the Chefs’ Manifesto.

As one of the eight fabulous chefs involved in this initiative, I had the opportunity to share my passion for sustainable cooking and Southern cuisine with a global audience. Through my course, "Southern Cuisine," I aimed to celebrate the rich history, culture, and flavors of the American South while emphasizing the importance of cooking with respect for the earth and its oceans.

"Soul Food" is not just a culinary tradition—it's a way of cooking with heart and soul, rooted in the history and culture of the South. In my course, I aim to capture the essence of Southern cuisine through iconic dishes, sustainable ingredients, and heartfelt storytelling.

Join me on a journey through the flavors of the American South as we prepare classic dishes with a modern twist. From succulent duck & grits and comforting fried chicken and biscuits to decadent peach cobbler, we'll explore the depth and diversity of Southern cuisine while honoring its rich culinary heritage.
